Arduino Mini as Slave to Linkit One as Master

Hello, I've rigged up an arduino mini-pro as a slave to a linkit one; I needed more interrupts for the data logger I've been building. I've got the slave sending anemometer data to the master via wire() & I2C, the problem I'm having is that only some of the data is getting sent. I've attempted loopi...

Re: Connecting 2 Grove devices to Stalker 3.0

You're right, the temp is always better from an external device since the case is waterproof. I use external DHT-11/22 sensors for that reason.

The new files (in the .rar file in Jacket's reply) solve the issue with the DHT devices.

Re: +BTSTA:xx

It really just appears that there's no way to actually interrogate the BT Bee and get a real status / state from it - at least not from the Stalker base shield - in this case. I really wish there were a more capable base shield like the stalker that provided the same utility but with better support ...

I'm trying to control the on-off state of the Bluetooth Bee I'm using. I've tied it to the state of the solar panel by getting the charge state - basically, if the panel is charging it's daylight so turn the Bluetooth Bee 'on' and configure to be inquirable - which means that if the charge state is ...

Stalker 3 and 2.3 + BT Bee - solution

So here's a solution, and code for anyone dragging themselves through the muck trying to get a seeeduino stalker 3 (or 2.3) to run with a bluetooth bee. A couple of things. One, it's still a little slow. Two, there's probably a solution to that, I just haven't found it yet. The sketch below will con...

Re: Bluetooth bee pairs and then drops pairing

It turns out the problem is a little more complex than first noted. The BT Bee can (and is) made "inquirable" and can be paired with a laptop / android device, though it is having issues pairing with a mac laptop; it did pair successfully a few times during testing to the macbook I use but has not b...

Bluetooth bee pairs and then drops pairing

Hi,

Any ideas why a bluetooth bee will successfully become inquirable but then fail (go nin-inquirable) when attempting to pair a laptop or an android device with it?

Solved. See comment below:

Re: Elecrow HC-5 Bluetooth bee / Stalker 2.3 & 3

As it happens - as confirmed by the folks as Seeed Studio there is a defect in the Stalker 3 board that prevents Bee devices from working on software serial - so, that's fun. It means you can (and have to) use the hardware serial pins to communicate with the bee device, in this case a bluetooth bee....

Re: Stalker 2.3 & 3 and elecrow HC-5 bluetooth bee 2.0

Hi, So I found a defect in the design of the Stalker 3 board. So, what's the prize for that? I have got the Stalker 3 working with a Bluetooth Bee now using the hardware serial, next is to configure the reading of the data from the SD card and then stream it to the master (a computer or Android phon...
