Maybe you have a try of vm_bt_gatt_server_set_advertisement_data() http://labs.mediatek.com/site/global/developer_tools/mediatek_linkit_assist_2502/api_references/vm_bt_gatt_server_set_advertisement_data@VM_BT_GATT_CONTEXT_HANDLE@VMBOOL@VMBOOL@VMBOOL@VMUINT16@VMUINT16@VMUINT16@VMUINT16@VMCHAR_@VMU.gsp

Re: on_new_message fails in LUA and JS

Do you be able to make a phone call by running:

gsm.call('{a_phone_number}')

SerialException: device reports readiness to read but returned no data (device disconnected?)
It seems that RePhone crashed and serial device was disconnected.

Re: Xadow appearing as storage device on linux

Hi, The Xadow M0 is an mbed platform development board, it doesn't support the Arduino IDE. Programming new firmware binary on linux is a little different, we should use command: dd if={new_firmware.bin} of={mnt_dir}/firmware.bin conv=notrunc Or use bash script - https://github.com/xiongyihui/Arch/r...

Re: Problem with Grove-NFC

Do you mean tags with short message such as "AB" can't be read properly by Arduino Uno + Grove NFC?

Lua on LinkIt One

Hello there,

Lua is a powerful, fast, lightweight, embeddable scripting language. It can run on LinkIt One now.

If you're interested in Lua, go to https://github.com/xiongyihui/Lua_for_LinkIt_One, follow the README.md, and you will get a Lua interpreter running on LinkIt One.

Re: Xadow M0 Arm Serial COM with windows

Dear Kristoffer,

Sorry for making you confused. https://developer.mbed.org/handbook/USBSerial should be used with the Xadow M0 to provide a USB virtual serial.

Best,
Yihui

Re: Xadow establishing BLE Slave wo computer

Yep. The line is waiting computer to setup USB virtual serial and send data. To use your device standalone, the line should be removed.

Code: Select all

while (!Serial.available());

Re: SoftDevice for BLE Micro

The softdevice 120 and 130 can be used with the BLE Micro. The chip revision donesn't matter.
To flash s120 or s130, we can use a Arch BLE or a jlink through SWD interface

Re: Xadow - m0 + Xadow BLE

The Xadow BLE uses UART interface, so follow the pinout of the Xadow M0 to connect them, then use Serial to communicate.

Re: Development on ARCH BLE with Nordic S110 + Nordic SDK

Hi Samuele, Yes, you can use the offical Nordic SDK and a J-Link programmer. The Arch BLE's SWCLK and SWDIO are available for external programmer. Actually the on-board CMSIS DAP interface of the Arch BLE is quite powerful. We don't have to a J-Link programmer. With the latest firmware of CMSIS DAP ...
