Re: PCBA - Orientation of parts

Hello, welcome to the forums and to PCB design in general. The component footprint of polarized components will typically have some kind of indication drawn in the silkscreen legend that corresponds to a feature on the body of the component itself. For example, rectangular IC packages may have a lit...

Re: "PCB Awaiting Packing" since 25 days

Hello Ivano,

Thanks for your messages, your order seems to be a PCB Assembly. 25 working days is the standard lead time if the components are sourced externally.

If the PCB is complete then the status will be awaiting packing.

Hope that helps,

Re: PCB Cutouts

Hi, The cut-outs designed in the Dimension layer is fine. These will be output in the outline/mechanical layer and milled out directly. If you want to pluck out the middle pieces yourself you could do that too, just make sure the tabs are in the dimension layer as well. Not sure why you would prefer...

Re: Can't upload the BOM file

Hi Chris,

When I opened the files in Excel the data is not separated into columns and there are only commas separating each value. So the system is reading your data as Designator = C1, MPN = C2 then Quantity = CC0402JRNPO9BN180. Just check out out the template to see how to organise the data.

Yes, Advanced PCB is the way to go. Just make sure you specify the requirement in the files or even specify the exact material you want.

Re: Aluminum PCB Thermal Conductivity

Hi Jay,

Welcome to the Seeed Fusion forums, great to have you here.

I've just double checked with the engineers and they have informed me that the thermal conductivity of the dielectric for aluminium boards produced using the standard service is 1.0W/m*K.

Hope that helps,

Re: Plated slot

Understood, though I used to be a member of the support team and I still help out sometimes, I've checked the system but I can't find anything that could be your message. Could you try sending another? fusion@seeed.cc should be fine. Also, Eagle is not a very popular in China so they may not have an...
